1. About these terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your access to the Know Your Lead website, accounts, and related services (the “Service”). “Know Your Lead”, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to the provider of the Service. “You” refers to the person or organisation using it.
By creating an account or subscribing, you agree to these terms. If you act for a business, you confirm that you have authority to bind it. If you do not agree, do not create an account or purchase a subscription. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Eligibility and accounts
The Service is intended for business users aged 18 or over. Provide accurate registration and billing information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for protecting your sign-in credentials, managing access to your workspace, and activity you authorise through your account.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access or a security issue. You must not impersonate another person, misrepresent your relationship with a business, or share access in a way that circumvents your plan limits.
3. The Service and availability
Know Your Lead is designed to help businesses capture, organise, and understand leads. Your access depends on the features available for your plan and any additional terms agreed in writing. Early-access features, previews, sample profiles, and demonstration forms may be illustrative or awaiting configuration; they do not guarantee that a workflow is available in your account.
We may maintain, update, or improve the Service. Availability can be affected by maintenance, technical failures, and third-party systems. We will give reasonable notice of material changes to a paid service where practicable. If we discontinue a paid service before the end of a prepaid period, we will refund the unused portion.
4. Plans, trials, and payments
The price, currency, billing interval, usage allowances, and any applicable taxes are displayed in your offer or checkout. Subscriptions renew automatically at the stated interval unless cancelled before renewal. By subscribing, you authorise our payment provider, Stripe, to charge your selected payment method for the agreed amounts.
If your offer includes a free trial, checkout explains its duration and the charge that follows. Unless stated otherwise in your offer, a trial converts to a paid subscription when it ends. Cancel before the trial ends to avoid the next charge. A sandbox or test transaction does not represent a live payment.
We may restrict paid access if payment fails and will provide a way to contact support to resolve the issue. Any change to recurring pricing will be communicated before it takes effect, with an opportunity to cancel before the new price applies.
5. Cancellation and refunds
You can request cancellation by emailing support@knowyourlead.ai from your account email address. Send your request before your trial ends or your next renewal date. Cancellation stops future renewals; paid access normally continues until the end of the current billing period.
Unless your offer or applicable law provides otherwise, charges for a billing period already started are non-refundable and unused allowances do not carry over. This does not affect remedies for a service we fail to provide, incorrect charges, or any mandatory cancellation or refund rights. Contact us promptly about a billing problem so we can investigate.
6. Acceptable use
You must use the Service lawfully and respect the rights of others. You must not:
- Send unlawful spam, phishing messages, deceptive communications, or harassing material.
- Collect or use personal information without a lawful basis, required notices, or permissions.
- Upload malware, probe for vulnerabilities without authorisation, disrupt the Service, or attempt to access another customer’s data.
- Resell access without our written agreement, bypass technical limits, or infringe intellectual property rights.
- Use lead information or scores to make unlawful discriminatory decisions or decisions about credit, employment, insurance, or other similarly significant matters.
7. Your content and lead data
You retain ownership of the content and data you provide. You grant us permission to host, process, transmit, and display it as needed to deliver and support the Service, meet legal obligations, and protect its security.
You are responsible for your forms, data sources, privacy notices, marketing messages, and use of lead information. Where you determine why and how lead data is processed, you are responsible for meeting your obligations as its controller. Where we process personal data on your behalf, any applicable data processing agreement forms part of our agreement. Contact us to arrange any required processing terms before uploading lead data.
Do not submit sensitive personal information or confidential information that is not necessary for the Service. Keep appropriate copies of information you need for your business.
8. Intellectual property
The Service, including our software, branding, designs, and website content, belongs to Know Your Lead or its licensors. Subject to these terms and your plan, we give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your business while your access remains active.
Except where permitted by law or with our written permission, you must not copy, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from the Service. Providing feedback does not transfer ownership of your business data to us.
9. Third parties and lead insights
The Service may rely on third-party hosting, authentication, payment, or data services. External websites and services have their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability and content are outside our direct control.
Where lead enrichment, scoring, or generated insights are available, they are informational and may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect. Review information before relying on it or contacting a lead. We do not guarantee a particular number of sales, response rate, revenue outcome, or the accuracy of third-party information.
10. Disclaimers and liability
We will provide the Service with reasonable care and skill. Except for express commitments in our agreement and rights required by law, we do not give additional warranties that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every business purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost business opportunities, or losses arising from your unlawful use of the Service. Our total liability arising from the Service is limited to the fees you paid or owe for it in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Mandatory consumer rights, where applicable, remain unaffected.
11. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end access for a material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security risk, or a legal requirement. Where reasonable, we will explain the issue and allow time to remedy it. Immediate action may be necessary to prevent harm or comply with law.
You may close your account by contacting support. Closing an account does not remove charges already owed. Request any data you need before closure; retention and deletion are described in our Privacy Policy. Provisions that by their nature should continue, including payment obligations, ownership, and liability limits, survive termination.
12. Changes, disputes, and contact
We may update these terms as the Service or legal requirements change. We will give notice of material changes affecting an existing subscription before they apply where practicable, and you can cancel if you do not wish to continue under the updated terms.
If part of these terms is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive it. Any separate written agreement we enter into with you takes precedence to the extent of a conflict.
For questions or disputes, contact support@knowyourlead.ai. Your legal rights remain unaffected.
